Hello, welcome to my studio. I’m happy you stopped by and I hope to have you soon for a photography session but first I want to tell you a bit about me!

I’m Alaa, a Maternity, Newborn & Baby Photographer. I’m also a graphic designer, and a studio theme creator .. Lebanese born in Kuwait, married, and a mommy of three, Adam my eldest son, and my twin boy and girl Zein and Layal.

I have always loved taking family and friends photos since I was 9 years old, I have also loved collecting babies photos from magazines when I was a teenager and hang them behind my room’s door. I also was a big fan of the queen of baby photography “Anne Geddes” in mid of 90s, the first newborn photographer in the world and her posters were everywhere in my room’s walls. That tells a lot about my hidden passion of baby photography that I didn’t realize until once again in 2011, when I saw some newborn photography posts on google and I heard myself saying this is what I truly want to be doing!!

I was working a full-time job as a graphic designer in the Ministry of Defence at the time but I couldn’t silence the thought of starting newborn photography even if just as a hobby so I began in a small room at my home with one camera, one lens and sunlight.

I started with a small group of friends and family who believed in me and who loved the professionalism, simplicity, and beauty I was able to deliver in the photos I took. Word of mouth quickly spread and I was having more clients every day at my home studio and within a year of practicing and learning, the thought of opening my own place started to cross my mind. With the support of my husband, I finally resigned from my full-time job and officially opened my own studio in February 2014 and have never looked back …

In the beginning, I was doing it all but a growing business can never thrive this way so I hired an assistant, who later became my right-hand photographer. The number of employees slowly started to grow and I now have an entire beautiful team who are as passionate as me in newborn and baby photography. I decided it was time for me to step back from taking photos myself so I took all the time to teach and train my team to serve with excellence and care so I can focus on managing the business, creating new themes, and new ideas for my clients so they can have beautiful portraits to treasure & keep forever.
